TPR Classical Movie Pack: Alfred Hitchcock

Handpicked by TPR Classical Program Director and Cinema Tuesday Curator Nathan Cone, the TPR Classical Movie Pack celebrates Alfred Hitchcock and the memorable music from his films. This gift set includes "Hitchcock's Music" by Jack Sullivan, a book that explores the filmmaker's influence on the importance of music in the movie making process. The book is paired with "Bernard Herrmann: The Film Scores." Herrmann is best known for his collaboations with Hitchcock, and he wrote the scores for some of the director's most iconic films. This album includes selections of music from "Marnie," "The Man Who Knew Too Much," "Psycho," "North by Northwest," "Vertigo," and more.

The Radio Bookmark has buttons that can be configured to bookmark stories and music from KSTX or another participating public radio station.
